Creating an Adobe Experience Manager Touch UI Tree component

You can create an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) component that displays data within a tree structure. For example, the component can read the AEM JCR, query data, and then display the results in a tree structure. The following illustration shows an AEM component displaying data.

Creating Enterprise Mobile Applications for Adobe Experience Manager 6

You can develop an Enterprise PhoneGap mobile application for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6. By creating a mobile AEM application, you can create content-rich cross-platform mobile applications that interact with device features:

  • Use the AEM authoring environment to create and manage rich content for your applications.
  • Use the PhoneGap (Cordova) APIs to create components with device-native capabilities, exposed through the PhoneGap javascript bridge.
  • Build and manage mobile content into pre-existing native applications through Cordova WebViews integration with Adobe Experience Manager.

The following illustration shows the mobile AEM application created in this development article.

Creating Logo Components for Adobe Experience Manager

You can create an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Logo component that displays your company's logo in an AEM web site. A logo component can also provide a link to the home page of your AEM web site. A logo component also contains a design-mode dialog so that property values are stored in the site design (/etc/designs/mywebsite):
  • The property values apply to all instances of the component that are added to pages that use the design.
  • The properties can be configured using any instance of the component that is on a page that uses the design.
  • Your design-mode dialog contains properties for setting the image and the link path. The logo component will be placed on the upper left side of all pages in the website.
A logo component lets an author select a logo during design time, as shown in the following illustration.

When the author selects the image, it is displayed within the AEM web page, as shown in the following illustration.
